How do I pay?

Our platform has a client portal where your customer details are saved and payment is processed. If you did not onboard through the onboarding quote tool on RoverScoopers.com, one of our team members will create an account for you after you have spoken to our staff. We will then provide your account details via email. The process to sign up for our services is very simple and only takes a couple minutes. When you login to your customer account, you will have access to copies of all your invoices, past cleanup dates/times, and you can link your credit card into the secure platform. Once your card is linked, the system will generate monthly invoices and pay them on your behalf.


Additional Notes:

Your card will need to be linked to your account/portal by the time we arrive at your home for the first visit. If your card is not in our system, we will attempt to contact you via phone or knock on your door. If no contact is made, we will reschedule your service for the next time that we have available in our schedule. Depending on the time of year, this could be week a couple weeks in the future. How does billing work?

  • For monthly services, billing is done on the 1st of each before services are provided.
  • Payment for initial or one-time cleanups are due upon completion of the job.
  • After the initial cleanup, billing will also occur for the remainder of the month (pro-rated) for recurring monthly services.
  • Recurring payments are due on the 1st of each month.
  • If payment is not received before your first cleanup of the month you will be removed from the service schedule until payment is processed. Services billed for the month are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel, we are more than happy to clean for the remainder of the month for you if needed.


Data Collection

Rover Scoopers uses the data we collect to operate our business, analyze performance, and continue to provide 5-star service. By accepting the terms and conditions, you give Scoop Troop permission to use collected information for advertising and marketing purposes. This may include sending promotional communications, targeting advertising, and presenting you with relevant offers.


What time will you be at my home?

  • With respect to scheduling, we are unable to provide a timeframe on your scoop day. We have many yards to clean, and our routes are constantly being optimized for efficiency. This also helps keep our rates low for you! Our routes run from around 7am to dark.
  • Communication is important and you will always receive notice via text when we are on the way. We provide about 60 minutes notice, so you are properly informed of our arrival. If you are at the beginning of our route, you will likely receive a 15-30 minute on the way text. We don’t want to bother you at 6am. Your scoop day will be the same day each week. If your service day ever changes, we will always communicate with you in advance.


Do I have to be home when you clean?

No, you do not have to be home when we clean. We simply ask for easy access to your gate. We can also clean with the doggies in the yard as long as they are very friendly. Our team loves all animals - it’s why we started Scoop Troop! Once the cleanup is completed, we will send a picture of your closed gate to your email on file, so you have records of it.

Note: If our staff has never met your dogs before and you are home, please let the technician know ahead of time that you will be letting the dogs out for an introduction. We don’t want to startle anyone!


What Happens If my Service Day is on a Holiday?

Great question! If your service day falls on a major holiday, we will skip that week's cleanup and perform double dooty the following week. You will still be charged due to 2 weeks of accumulated poo in the yard.


Do you disinfect your equipment?

Yes! We disinfect our equipment after each cleanup with an organic, kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent the spread of germs.


Do You Take The Waste Away?

Due to the excessive amount of accumulated waste, we do not take the dog waste away with us. Once the cleanup is complete, we will place the waste inside of your trash receptacle if it's outside.

Otherwise, we will double/triple bag the waste so it's presentable and place the bag(s) by your gate.

The Rover Scoopers website is a Marketing & Promotions site. By using the Rover Scoopers website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.


Collection of your Personal Information

In order to better provide you with products and services offered, Rover Scoopers may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:

  • First and Last Name
  • Mailing & Physical Address
  • E-mail Address
  • Phone Number
  • Information about your home such as gate locations, areas to be cleaned.
  • Information about your pets including names & birthdays.
  • If you purchase Rover Scoopers’s products and services, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction
  • Rover Scoopers may also collect anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your:
  • Age
  • Gender
  • Household Income
  • Locations

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through Rover Scoopers’s public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others.

However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services. These may include: (a) registering for an account; (b) entering a sweepstakes or contest sponsored by us or one of our partners; (c) signing up for special offers from selected third parties; (d) sending us an email message; (e) submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering and purchasing products and services. To wit, we will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. Rover Scoopers collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested.

Rover Scoopers does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. Rover Scoopers may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. Rover Scoopers may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries.
